The Dealers Room at Olympus 2012 is now full, and we're delighted to say that there will be a great set of people there. Take a look at the finalised list now, and make sure to visit at the con!

Convention hotels

The main convention hotel, the Radisson Edwardian, is now full, but we have been making arrangements with nearby overflow hotels, and details are now available.

Guest of Honour - Cory Doctorow

We are very pleased to announce that Cory Doctorow will be attending Olympus 2012 as a Guest of Honour.

Science fiction author, activist, journalist and blogger, Cory is the co-editor of Boing Boing and the author of the bestselling novel Little Brother. His latest novel is For the Win, a young adult novel, and his latest short story collection is With a Little Help. We are delighted that Cory will be joining us at Olympus 2012.

Guest of Honour - Tricia Sullivan

We are delighted to announce that Tricia Sullivan will be attending Olympus 2012 as a Guest of Honour.

Tricia won the Arthur C. Clarke Award for her novel Dreaming in Smoke, and she has been shortlisted for that award and many others for her other work, including, most recently, Lightborn. We are very pleased to welcome Tricia as a guest, and look forward to seeing her at Olympus 2012.

I'm sorry to have to announce that Steph Swainston will not now be able to attend Olympus 2012. The committee would like to express their full support and understanding for Steph in her decision to step down and wish her all the best in her new career as a teacher.

Membership rates review

We reviewed the membership rates on 30th June, and are pleased to announce that we have been able to hold the rates at their current level until the end of August. From 1st September, the attending and unwaged rates will both increase by £10. More details...
